Started With a Toolbox and a Promise
ServicePro was founded in 2009 by Marcus and Dana Rivera, a husband-and-wife team who saw how often Houston homeowners were left stranded by contractors who didn’t show up, overcharged, or cut corners.
Marcus had been working in HVAC for 12 years and held a master electrician license. Dana ran the books and answered every call personally. They launched ServicePro out of their garage with one van, three tools, and a simple promise: show up on time, charge what you say, and stand behind the work.
Sixteen years later, that promise hasn’t changed. We’ve grown to a team of 14 licensed technicians covering HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and handyman services across Houston and surrounding cities. But we still answer the phone the same way: “ServicePro, this is Dana.”
