Free street parking is available on Main Street and Oak Avenue. A paid parking garage is located one block north at 1300 Main St — La Mesa guests receive a 2-hour validation with dinner.

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes! We keep a portion of our tables available for walk-ins every evening. However, we recommend reserving in advance on weekends and holidays as we do fill up quickly.

How far in advance should I book a private event?

We recommend booking private dining and catering events 4–6 weeks in advance for weekday events, and 8–12 weeks for weekend events. Holiday periods book up even earlier.

Can you accommodate food allergies?

Absolutely. Please note all dietary restrictions in your reservation request. Our kitchen can accommodate most allergies including gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, vegetarian, and vegan. For severe allergies, please call us directly.

Is there a cancellation policy?

We ask for 24-hour notice to cancel or modify reservations. For private events and parties of 8+, a 48-hour cancellation notice is required to avoid a $25/person fee.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes! La Mesa gift cards are available in any amount and can be purchased in-restaurant or by calling us. They make a wonderful gift for any occasion.
